Caretaker

Overall Purpose:

To provide day-to-day support to the Accommodation Management (student accommodation) by delivering a high standard of caretaking at the two Manchester student accommodation properties.

Key Duties/Responsibilities

Daily cleaning of designated areas, both within the building & outside, including minor landscpaing tasks
Ensure all operation procedure relating to health & safety are adhered to e.g. manual handling & COSHH.
Assist with periodic cleaning, including summer cleans & deep cleans, to a specified high standard.
Asssiting in managing waste in the site
To operate various cleaning equipment/machinery in accordance to the training provided eg. jet washing
Responsible for own cleaning material stock levels on both sites
Adhoc cleaning as required such as relets & room moves.
Other general duties deemed necessary by the accommodation management such as carrying out basic complaince tasks
To undertake inspections throughout the year of all apartments and bedrooms and do reinspections if necessary.
