Senior Transport Consultant


Salary:

- £43,000 - £50,000 p.a, negotiable depending on experience.


Job type:

• Fulltime/Permanent.

Hours of work:

• 37.5 hours per week.

Hybrid working arrangements permitted.

25 days annual leave with additional days gained through years of service.

We are an independent transport planning consultancy that specialises in assisting the development industry to resolve transport issues, achieve planning permissions, and improve existing developments.

We are currently working on projects across the UK which range from major to smaller scale commercial and residential regeneration and redevelopment projects.

On many of the projects, resolving access and transport issues is key to unlocking the development potential and we have a track record of providing pragmatic and innovative solutions in these situations.

We are looking for a Senior Transport Consultant to join our team in Wandsworth, South West
London.

Ideally you will have around 5 years' experience in a similar environment, with a relevant degree in Geography, Engineering or similar; and ideally a transport related post-graduate qualification.

You would also be IT literate with sound analytical ability and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

You should be able to prepare Transport Assessment/Statements and Travel Plans as well as
Delivery and Service Plans and Construction Logistics/Transport Management Plans with input from senior staff.

The work needs to be both factually correct and written to a standard suitable for issue to the project team and planning authority.

AutoCAD to prepare and review highway proposals as well as to undertake vehicle swept path tracking, and have some knowledge of junction capacity analysis programs such as PICADY,
ARCADY, and TRANSYT.

You should be able to communicate effectively with clients and other co-professional, be responsible for day-to-day project management, manage client relations and expectations, assume responsibility for financial control, quality, and technical input for all assigned projects.
