Job Title:

IT Director

Location:

Fully Remote - they have offices in London & Wales for collaboration

Salary:

Bench marked at £90,000 but can be flexible + benefits

Role Description:

You will be responsible for contributing to the creation and the delivery of the IT strategy.

Being a smaller (40 staff) scale-up you will require a hands-on approach and they will look to you to propose, implement, and manage solutions covering varioustechnical elements within the business.

Duties and responsibilities include:

Managing a small team of inhouse IT support engineers as well as working with outsourced partners
Oversee daytoday operations across their IT estate
Ensure processes are in place for systems monitoring, and fault resolution
Engage with stakeholders across the organisation, to plan and deliver complex IT roadmap projects
Implement and maintain security control, processes, and practices across the organisation's IT estate
Help define and improve standard IT processes
Establish KPIs within the IT team and the services it provides so we can measure how we're performing and identify areas for improvement
Create and manage the IT budget identifying areas for cost efficiencies, managing relationships with suppliers, creating budgetary proposals

You:

You will have broad handson experience in IT Support and IT Management
You will have experience working with senior stakeholders
You will have experience with MS Azure and cloud solutions, IaaS and SaaS
You will have experience line managing IT support engineers
You are comfortable working independently, selecting, and implementing solutions that are driving specific business outcomes
You will have experience managing an IT budget
You can build arguments and proposals based on the current business and technical context and not just your experience of what worked before
As a leader within IT, you understand the importance of fostering a supportive, friendly, and empathetic relationship with end users
You will have experience in managing and supporting internally used hardware and software solutions
Comfortable with agile working practices

It would be great if you also have.
Experience working with agile, tech scale-ups.

Working Environment:

They are a distributed team with two office locations with other colleagues based around the world. Our team can choose to work from their offices as much or as little as they'd like.
