Your role at a glance

We have a brand new 18-month fixed-term opportunity within LGIM (Legal & General Investment Management) where you'll be reporting to the System Product Owner, whilst interacting with key business stakeholders and IT delivery teams, helping us streamline the delivery of business goals and priorities.

The role requires an understanding of existing business practices and use of associated IT solutions. In addition, interaction with enterprise wide initiatives is necessary to help drive future scalability and efficiency of business processes.

What you'll be doing

Provide guidance and assistance when necessary towards the definition of business requirements, business solutions, mapping out appropriate Epics and User Stories, and test strategy.
Collaborate with IT solution teams on a daytoday basis to help ensure smooth delivery of business driven priorities
Validate resource requirements and cost estimates for delivery
Business stakeholder management and communication on regular basis
Help plan and facilitate business resource commitment through all stages of the delivery lifecycle
Support and undertake user acceptance testing when necessary
Implement business quality controls and governance throughout the delivery lifecycle
Provide business support and consultancy when necessary during the operational business lifecycle. Examples of such events include transitions, restructures, bulk data handling.
Monitor priority IT service related issues to ensure reliance and resilience of existing IT infrastructure and IT solutions, liaising with the appropriate support teams.

What we're looking for

As part of the selection process we will be looking for a mixture of experience/knowledge as well as the right behaviours that align to Legal & General's.

Experience with portfolio and order management systems in an Investment Management company
Ability to work independently and with IT and multiple business stakeholders
Well organised with strong timemanagement skills
Experience of requirements elicitation and design, and operating model definition
Experience of Agile/iterative delivery and contribution to/creation of business cases
Experience of full change lifecycle with a client journey and productled focus
Sound understanding of contemporary technology infrastructure, e.g. service based architecture and data management
