Description

The Division of Cancer Sciences within the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health wishes to appoint a laboratory-based Data Administrator to an exciting project exploring how neurofibromatosis type-II and radiation may interact.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take part in a new and innovative project to create a model of the risk of secondary brain tumours for patients with NF2 who may be undergoing radiotherapy.


During this position, the post-holder will undertake a range of activities including: writing and testing scientific simulations, performing statistical analyses of epidemiological data, and studying whole-genome sequencing.

The post-holder will help to develop data analysis techniques which cover individual genetics, age, and radiotherapy treatment delivery.

This is a fixed-term part time position. Terms will be flexible but 4 months at 90% FTE will be indicative.
