Warehouse Operative
Immediate start required for busy and enthusiastic warehouse team with an ever-growing order book and substantial customer base. Mayfield has been supplying quality holiday home accessories for the static caravan holiday home industry since 1989.

We are proud to be the fore founders of uPVC caravan sundecks and have inspired the designs of many Sundecks seen today.

We continue to lead the way in innovation and design and class ourselves as the market leaders for this product.

Due to the rapid growth of the business, we are currently looking to appoint a Warehouse Assistant based in Poole, Dorset.


Key responsibilities:


  • Fabrication of timber and aluminium bases in a warehouse environment.
  • Stock Management
  • Maintain continuity with every installation.
  • Ensure all health and safety aspects of the job are adhered to.
  • Have previous joinery experience with similar products or any other similar tasks.
  • Have a cando attitude and will be keen to learn new skills.
  • Be keen to work as part of a team but will also be able to take own initiative.
  • Be willing to occasionally visit local customers to help with snags / remedial work

Performance Objectives / Measures:


  • Achieve high customer satisfaction.
  • Achieve daily fabrication targets.
  • Comply with H&S policy.

Key skills, knowledge, experience and attributes:

  • Numerate, accurate.
  • Able to work from a plan and be well organised.
  • Basic IT skills
  • Take responsibility and resolves problems.
  • Tenacious.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Proactive and takes initiative with problem solving capability
  • Selfconfident, personable and approachable.
  • Understands the importance of installation quality.
  • Full, clean driving license preferred but not essential.
  • Valid Fork-Lift license a plus but not essential.

Hours:

  • 8 hour shift 07:0015:30 with halfhour lunch

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Poole BH12 4QR: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
