Production Team Leader

Location:
Bradford (BD4)

Pay Rate:
£ £13.59 per hour depending on experience

Plus 25% for night shift

Hours : 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00 / 22:00 - 06:00

This is a temporary position with the opportunity of a permanent role_

Total Recruit are recruiting for experienced Team Leaders on behalf of our client who is a leading

supplier of a vast range of cans and pails for retail and industrial packaging.


Duties:


  • Ensure Health and Safety procedures and policies are communicated, visible and strictly adhered to
  • Complete and document quality checks required as per ISO 9001 Quality standards
  • Maximise line output and efficiency by utilising labour, machinery and raw materials in a costeffective manner to achieve agreed OEE targets
  • Monitor, record and report line efficiencies, ensure all relevant paperwork and controlled documents are completed correctly and handed in at the end of the shift.
  • Carry out minor maintenance on the machines in line with the weekly planned maintenance schedule recording any necessary repairs on the agility system
  • Consistently promoting high standards through personal example
  • Liaise with other internal department service providers, developing and maintaining strong relationships to ensure optimal performance
  • Communicate clearly with colleagues by attending morning production meetings where Health & safety, Quality and production matters are raised and discussed in a professional manner
