WHAT TO EXPECT


Based at the home of our principal design and engineering centre (CV35 0BJ), offering: a flexible hybrid working model, bonuses, discounts on JLR and Ford vehicles, optional temporary overseas remote working (up to 30 workdays), the choice of an 8.1% salary increase in exchange for 40-hour workweek, up to 10% pension contribution, maternity/paternity leave.


When you join as a Senior On-Cycle Buyer within the Body In White (BIW) department, you will contribute your developed skills in project and stakeholder management to new product introductions to new generation Jaguar vehicles around the BIW structures such as castings, extrusions, and stampings.


Supported by a team of experienced purchasing specialists, you will deliver the industrialization stage of project Panthera, JLR's all-new, all-electric, Jaguar line-up.


In this role, you will also:

  • Work with the Regional Delivery Teams, lead the development of the supplier relationships globally for your designated commodities
  • Participate in Supplier Business Reviews to develop supplier relationships in accordance with the supplier segmentation model

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


You will engage with internal and external stakeholders to deliver the industrialization Jaguars Panthera platform for the new electric vehicle family.
