Responsibility for the accurate preparation of the VAT returns, taking full ownership of the preparation process.
Responsibility for the accurate preparation of any other VAT compliance documents as required
Responsibility for fully reconciling the VAT balance sheet accounts, investigating any differences, and preparing the necessary journals each month.
Responsibility for VAT payments, ensuring these are made in a timely manner.
Monitor legislative changes and work with the Tax team on identifying the impact of these changes to the business including the impact that these changes may have on preparation of compliance
Provide support to the Tax team on project work where required.
Provide advice and guidance to the business on VAT matters.
Assist with process improvements, including VAT reporting requirements for IT systems.
