About the TeamThe Minerals and Waste Management team comprises of 9 people (inclusive of this role), based across Leeds and London. The London team comprises of one Partner, a Senior Surveyor and one Assistant Surveyor.
Job Description:
Main responsibilities
- Assisting in the inspecting properties and preparing inspection notes
- Researching relevant comparable evidence
- Preparing rating valuations
- Preparing CCA submissions and Appeals
- Assisting in the preparation of evidence for tribunal hearings and third party referrals
- Preparing client reports
- Working with cross departmental teams servicing national portfolios
- Completing and delivering academic work in a timely basis meeting program requirements
- Genuine interest in mineral surveying and industrial sector properties.
- IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel competencies
- Well organised, efficient, using initiative and working to tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, coupled with an eye for detail
- A commitment to excellence and developing strong client relationships
- Flexible and selfmotivated with a real desire to deliver excellent customer service
- Positive attitude and willing to learn with and develop the team
- A full driving licence (preferable) / willing to work nationally
