Gi Group are excited to recruit for temp to perm Customer Service Advisor's working for the Royal Mail Group.

Royal Mail Group, the most trusted and successful letters and parcel delivery business, has an opportunity for you to join their team as a Customer Service Advisor.


Customer Service Advisor role:

  • Location: Plymstock, Plymouth
  • PL
  • Pay rate: £11.77 per hour increasing to £14.00 for Sundays and Bank Holidays
  • Start Dates: Every Monday
  • Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week (Full time)
  • Weekly rota: 4 days Monday to Friday between 118pm, Saturday 16pm

Responsibilities as a Customer Service Advisor:

  • Deliver excellent customer service and offer solutions and advice on products and services.
  • Navigate multiple systems whilst supporting customers over the telephone and through multiple contact channels
  • Be used to dealing with difficult situations
  • Be able to problem solve whilst providing an outstanding service at all times
  • Full training will be provided, with ongoing support

Requirements at Royal Mail:

  • Previous complaint handling experience
  • Flexibility around working hours is essential
  • Must be computer literate
  • Possess excellent communication
  • Be resilient and empathetic
  • Must have a strong work ethic, flexible and happy to work hard on their own initiative
  • Possess good people skills that are helpful and friendly
  • You must be able to provide various proof for identity checks
