Description

To be responsible for answering incoming phone calls to the alarm receiving centre, monitoring customer alarms, CCTV and communicating with customer key contacts regarding their alarms.


  • Alarm handling and CCTV Operating on our bespoke software
  • PC data entry and basic administration duties
  • Edit and handle customer records
  • Follow procedures methodically and upholding excellent standards
  • Monitor all systems within the control room in an efficient manner, ensuring that all work is undertaken in compliance with the operating procedures, legislation, and the codes of practice.
  • Liaise with Police, other agencies, and designated employees to coordinate the appropriate emergency response by risk assessment and adherence to company procedures.
  • Provide routine system support to all clients i.e., system testing, administering alarm configurations
  • Participate in departmental administrative duties when needed
  • Report all events and actions taken in a clear, legible, and accurate written format.
  • Provide efficient and courteous telephone answering service and deal efficiently with all enquiries
  • To be well presented and professional with the ability to work under pressure and remain calm
  • Able to evaluate a situation under pressure using good judgement skills
  • Must hold a SIA CCTV Licence

Salary:
£20,000.00-£30,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:
- southampton: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)


Experience:

- cctv operator: 1 year (preferred)
