Qualified ideally 2-4 years Post Qualified experience

£55-£65k+Bonus+Bens - Hammersmith

Role


Working within a dynamic and growing finance department, this is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to progress their career in accountancy who has an interest in financial markets and a desire to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial company.


As a member of the finance team, you will gain exposure to the accounting matters of multiple different areas of the business, from the commodity trading desks to the cash + risk management and services, to the complex derivative accounting and subsidiarycompanies.

There will be many challenges and opportunities currently, and many more that will arise as the business continues its rapid growth trajectory.

New business areas are constantly being cultivated and you will be expected to take the lead on new projects,working independently and taking ownership of your responsibilities in finding innovative solutions to existing and new new challenges.

In this role you will be trained by experienced and high performing colleagues who will be able to support you in your role.

You will be comfortable analysing, manipulating and reconciling data; and will be involved in system processing, cross border transactions,management reporting and business analysis.

You will be exposed to a variety of businesses and financial products and given the opportunity to be responsible for the transaction full cycle from initiation recognition to preparation of Financial Statements.


Skills Required:

  • Financial derivatives understanding and interest.
  • Comfortable with mathematics and excel spreadsheets.
  • Possess strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Results orientated and selfmotivated.
  • Strong attention to detail.


you must have a flexible, organized, proactive attitude towards work with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.


Desired:

  • Experience within the commodity space
  • Experience in a startup environment
Strong academic background essential for this role

Financial Accountant

Qualified ideally 2-4 years Post Qualified experience and MUST have had no more than 5 exemptions from Professional qualification of ACCA, CIMA OR ACA

£60-£70k+Bonus+Bens+Hybrid - Hammersmith
