A very well-recognised and influential logistic distribution and supply chain operator within the industry.

Description

Joining the team as a Transport Shift Manager, you will be responsible for managing the Transport and Loading teams whilst motivating employees.

Ensuring all aspects of Health & Safety within the Warehouse are maintained and product is picked and dispatchedto the highest standard in order to meet set KPI's.

Rotation shifts:
05:20 - 13:30 and 12:00 - 20:00 Monday to Friday Main Responsibilities:

Carry out daily inspections of the work place.
Complete and Carry out Personal Development Plans for all members of their team.
Ensure that a high standard of Health & Safety is adhered within the working environment.
Communicating regularly with Team Leaders/Senior Managers regarding any issues that may arise within the transport department.
Engage with customers to ensure all security measures are in place.
Manage the team's performance in line with KPI's as required.
Ensure all goods are check thoroughly and checked in and out

Profile

A Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain background.
Transport Shift Management experience
A minimum of 3+ years Logistics management experience.
Have managed in excess of 5+ staff previously.
Have a proven track record of achieving in fast paced, high pressured operations.
Have good written and verbal communication skills.
Be commercially minded and results driven.
Be commutable to Saltley
Criminal record check for the past 5 years and no CCJs
