Responsibilities
As a Senior Planner, you'll be working within the Kier BAM JV at Hinkley Point C team, supporting the team with managing, monitoring, developing and driving all aspects of our Hinkley Point C programme of works.
Your day to day will include:
- You'll play a key role within the Kier BAM JV works at the UK flagship new nuclear build, Hinkley Point C, aiding delivery to time and budget.
- You'll ensure the programme is continually developed, communicated, reviewed, monitored, and efficiently delivered across all stages of the project planning life cycle.
- You will support the project management team in construction and through to handover.
- You will plan the sequence of work, logistics, and resourcing of the works, as well as monitoring and providing the programme conscience of the project.
- As expected with a senior planning role, regular identification of change and early warning matters are an absolute, which will require production, and subsequent communication of assessments with the commercial team to manage any change.
What do we need from you?
This role of Senior Planner is great for you if:
- You have demonstrable experience in contract planning for a main contractor, including change management
- You have proven delivery experience of largescale infrastructure projects with a sound technical knowledge of the construction process
- Experience of large insitu, reinforced concrete structures and civil engineering carried out in a complex environment with consideration of multiple stakeholders
- Good level of competency within Primavera P6, including cost loading
- Excellent communication skills, including strong leadership, management, and problemsolving skills and can take the lead with client interfaces
