This is a role where the right person can make a real difference, taking responsibility for ensuring that the College achieves high standards of health and safety compliance.

An indication of what you will be involved with includes:


  • Updating policies
  • Checking procedures comply with legislative requirements and good practice
  • Communicating with other members of the College community regarding Health and Safety and compliance matters
  • Checking and assisting with the writing and updating of risk assessments
  • Accident and near miss reporting and investigations
  • Keeping abreast of Health and Safety legislation
  • Preparing reports for Senior Management and Governors


You will work closely with the Estates Manager and his team on buildings and site matters, with the help of a part time Fire Officer and DSE Assessor.

Additionally, you will have administrative and Estates Assistant support.
