An opportunity has arisen within Mon Timber, for an experienced
Internal Sales Representative; the role will be based at our
Cardiff site where you will be working within a well-established team.

For this role you will need to have a driven and motivated attitude with prior experience within a sales environment; additionally with the ability to maximise sales opportunities whilst building and maintaining strong relationships and rapport with customers.

It would also be an advantage if you have experience working within the timber or similar sector.

For this role you must be a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills; a natural flair for selling, and committed to providing exceptional customer service.

Additional attributes and skills required are, someone who is:

• A professional person, with drive, energy and focus, and has strong attention to detail.
• Is organised and has a structured manner in the delivery of customer requirements.
• Can naturally generate relationships with new, existing trade and retail customers, with the ability to deal with customer queries and problems promptly.
• Able to build rapport; with the ability to interpret and adapt customers' ideas.
• Some knowledge of timber and panel products is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.
• Computer literate; training will be provided on our systems.

What you will be doing.
You will be required to generate/co-ordinate sales through the office via telephone and face-to-face contact.

You will also be supporting the Branch Manager in achieving and exceeding sales targets at optimum margins; ensuring we maintain a high standard, creating and maintaining a loyal customer base, and providing a first class service.
