Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated cleaner to work at The Hermitage Primary School, Thatcham RG18 3SA.

As Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within our facilities.

A fully enhanced DBS would be an advantage as this is a requirement of this post.

We operate a Annualised pay system for schools and this will be explained at interview.

Uniform and training will be provided.

Responsibilities:

Perform cleaning duties such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other designated areas
Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
Restock supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap
Follow cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure a high standard of cleanliness
Notify management of any maintenance or repair needs
Adhere to health and safety regulations

Requirements:

Proven experience in commercial cleaning is preferred
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
Ability to work independently and efficiently
Physical stamina to stand, bend, kneel, lift heavy objects, and perform cleaning tasks for extended periods
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
