Meat Cutter

Meat Plant is seeking a skilled and experienced Meat Cutter to join our team.

As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for preparing and cutting various types of meats to meet our customers' needs.

MUST be able to cut steaks to portion control


Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cut different types of meats, including beef, pork, chicken,
• Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures
• Trim excess fat and remove bones from cuts of meat
• Portion and package meat products for delivery storage
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the meat preparation area
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management regarding ordering needs

Skills:

• Proven experience as a Meat Cutter or similar role
• Indepth knowledge of different cuts of meat and their characteristics
• Strong knife skills and ability to use meat processing equipment safely
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate portioning and trimming
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining quality standards
• Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members

Salary:
£11.00-£15.00 per hour
