Transport Planner

CELSA - Cardiff

Up to £25,000 starting salary


You'll be part of a team that is responsible for arranging the transportation of around 1.2 million tonnes of steel a year - so a busy team You will work with our suppliers to organise and book transport for our finished product, meaning you'll play a key role in keeping our customers happy.


You don't necessarily need previous experience within a Planning or Transport role, but what's important is your strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and still get things done.

What is equally important is how you're able to communicate effectively with a wide range of personalities over the phone.

You'll be joining a recycling company - we recycle scrap metal into new steel products. We're the largest producer of reinforcing steel in the UK and one of the largest metal recyclers, too. We're passionate about circular economy and working towards our target of becoming net zero carbon by 2030.
