Role - Senior Project Manager

Type - Permanent

Location - Wiltshire

Salary - £45,000- £62,000 per annum dependent on experience (please advise what you're looking for)

My client designs and manufactures engineering equipment and machinery, and they are looking to take on a Senior Project Manager, on a permanent basis, in the Wiltshire area.


The Senior Project Manager will ideally have the following attributes:

  • An additional Project Management qualification would be desirable
  • Previous experience working as a Project Manager in a technical engineering or manufacturing environment to have transferable skills
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Experience working with MS Project and CAD software would be ideal
  • Flexible to travel overseas if required for a project
  • Any capital equipment, machinery or similar experience would be desirable
  • Good organisational skills are required and good time management too
  • The ability to use Microsoft Office programmes
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • The ability to work well alone as well as part of a team
  • Be selfmotivated and keen to achieve set goals

The Senior Project Manager role will involve:

  • Reporting to the Head of Project Management
  • Looking after a multidisciplinary team
  • Overseeing project execution
  • Working with mechanical, process, electrical and commissioning employees
  • Working and liaising face to face with customers and also suppliers
  • Project managing all given projects ensuring they're to schedule and budget
  • Reporting monthly on project progress using the necessary reports and tools
  • Documenting everything as required
  • Ensuring compliance against safe working practices at all times
  • Providing input of Management Information for Meetings
