Description
The cleaning of the kitchen premises and catering equipment.

The delivery and collection of the patients heated meal trolleys

The washing up of catering equipment

Basic food preparation and delivery of foods to wards and departments

Receipt and storage of provision deliveries

  • To maintain a clean and tidy appearance at all times with special regard to personal hygiene, including the wearing of full clean uniform at all times.
The safe and timely delivery and collection of patient's food trolleys from wards.

Deliver additional call back food items ordered by wards.

Collection of patients menu cards from wards.

The operation of utensil washers and dishwashers in all catering areas.

Washing up and cleaning of kitchen equipment by hand.

Disposal of cardboard boxes, flattened, into external bins.

Safe disposal of food tins and recycling of foil containers.

Handling and disposal of food waste.

Maintaining high cleaning standards in all catering areas.
