Transport Coordinator

James Robinson Fibres are currently looking for a transport coordinator to join our busy team based at our head office on Euroway Industrial Estate, Bradford.

The role will involve dealing with customers, and processing of orders and associated paperwork. Arranging both internal and external transport, and liaising with colleagues on orders and deliveries. Various other related duties as required.

• Monday to Friday 8.00 to 17.00
• Salary Commensurate with Experience

The Role
Key Duties will include, but not be limited to

• Dealing with customers and arranging deliveries.
• Route planning and coordinating with drivers.
• Ensuring customer queries are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.
• Liaising with sales, and warehouse staff over delivery planning and timelines.
• Maintaining proactive relationships with existing customers and suppliers.
• Entering data accurately on our computer systems including Sage 200 ERP system.
• Maintaining a safe working environment that complies with the Company's H&S Policy

Key Experience and Qualifications include

• Good communication skills with the ability to deal with customers.
• Ability to work as part of a team and use own initiative.
• Good written and verbal skills.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Used to working in a fastpaced environment, and flexible to meet the needs of the business.
• Familiar and comfortable with using Microsoft 365 including Outlook, Excel and Word.
• A team player who can work well with colleagues and customers.
• Experience of running a transport department would be a distinct advantage.
