Description

To independently complete basic functional assessments with clients, incorporating analytical, investigative, and physical skills under the supervision of Qualified therapists.

To independently complete basic activity of daily living assessments, these could include personal ADLs, hot drink and meal preparation and support Occupational Therapy interventions.

To assist in completing risk assessment of the environment and safety within the home under the guidance of senior team members following local and Trust policies.

To prescribe, order issue and fit a designated range of equipment and instruct clients and carers on appropriate use, maintenance and fitting of equipment.

To develop the knowledge and understanding concerning relevant Medical conditions for example, routine Hip and Knee Replacements, Dementia, Falls, frailty, spasticity etc.
