Description

We are looking for an experienced plant fitter/Mechanic to join our team on a short term basis with the potential to become permanent.


Duties will include

  • Test, maintain and service heavy plant, pumps and small power tools.
  • Site visits to repair plant & equipment.
  • Keeping Maintenance records and reporting defaults.
  • Maintenance of company fleet.
Flexible approach to tasks allocated, excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to learn about new products and understanding them to a good level. Experience in plant maintenance / fitting and testing.

The successful Fitter will have; A professionally recognised qualification in Plant maintenance and repair (NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent)

Level 2 Diploma in Light Vehicle maintenance & repair is desirable but not essential.

A full UK Driving licence

Own vehicle and tools would be an advantage but not essential.


Job Type:
Temp to perm


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Great Ashfield, Suffolk: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
