We are recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join our busy Finance team in Bristol.You will report to the Finance Supervisor with duties including, but not limited to, compliance of SAR's, posting to client ledgers, risk compliance, adhering to our internal policies, and ensuring client funds are protected.
Our Finance Team is a growing team of 30 staff who sit alongside our Credit Control and Reporting departments.Your Role:
As a Finance Assistant your day to day remit includes:
- Posting and reconciling of, Land Registry, Landweb, Land Direct & HMCTS
- Reviewing and clearing of aged unbilled disbursements
- Checking the bank codes report and making amendments
- Data cleansing for implementation of new practice management system
- Clearing anticipated disbursements that have not been billed or paid
- Posting of batches and transfers for Licensing team.
- Posting General Expenses and anticipated disbursements
- TT/BACS Checking
- Assist the Finance Supervisor with any ad hoc duties as required
Your Skills and Experience:
- Have previous experience of working within a busy office
- Work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail
- Have strong communication skills
- Be able to think laterally to solve problems within an evolving finance team
- Previous Knowledge of SRA Accounts Rules advantageous
