Your Workspace Ltd are a leading manufacturer and supplier of "smart storage" and office furniture.

This growing company has expanded over recent years and has established substantial contracts with many major banking, financial and retail clients.

As part of the company's continued growth plan, the business is now recruiting a Contracts Assistant to help it achieve its future ambitions.


This new role would be ideal for an individual who is looking to work within our expanding contracts team and would suit someone who is able to work on their own initiative, as well as within our busy team.

Responsible for assisting in the management of customer orders and contracts; working as a team within the contracts department.

The role involves processing customer orders and being the direct liaison between our external sales and manufacturing teams ensuring that all elements of each project are delivered satisfactorily.


Administration

  • Sales order processing; data inputting; Invoicing; general administration
  • Setting up of new projects, raising works orders & picking lists
  • Ensure specific customer requests are visible, understood and communicated to all teams.
  • Management control of Invoicing and payment terms
  • Coordinating with the Projects Team daily and providing updates.
  • Coordinating with drawing dept and factory, amending orders to suit changes

Work Experience & Key Skills Required

  • Experience of working in a similar role will be a major advantage.
  • Experience of delivering high quality customer service and dealing with customer service issues in a contract and project environment.
  • Computer literate with experience of using project management tools, including Microsoft Word & Excel.
  • The ability to read, understand and translate technical drawings for processing & installation purposes.
  • Experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workloads for self and others.
  • Can forge key relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Experience in developing internal relationships with all business functions to promote and educate understanding of customer needs to ensure customer service and satisfaction is maximized.
  • The role will be office based.

Salary:
£21,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
