This is a school very much at the heart of the local community it serves. It has a long and proud tradition of educating and inspiringthe children of Tameside.

The school provides a continuous learning journey for children from three to eleven years old and responds to developing and changing needs as pupils move through the school.

About the Role:

As the Year 3 Class Teacher you will be required to:

Carry out professional duties and share responsibility for the progress and attainment of approximately 25 pupils in a Year 3 class.

Carry out appropriate planning, teaching, marking and assessment activities so each child can achieve their potential.


Be responsible for the day-to-day work and management of the class and the safety and welfare of the pupils, during on-site and off-site activities.

Promote the aims and objectives of the school and maintain its philosophy of education.

You will be tasked with creating exciting and engaging lessons aiming to utilise all of the school's resources.

Essential Requirements

  • Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and employment breaks must be explained
  • Have excellent references to support your previous experience in a __ setting
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK
