HR Officer

Permanent & Full Time

Located in Derby with regular travel across East Midlands sites

Up to £42,000 & company car and plenty of other benefits

This is a exciting and rare opportunity to join our successful client based in Derby in a senior position within the HR team, you will be involved in all areas of the business group for HR purposes and will need to understand the complexities of working with two businesses.

This role is based on site in Derby, where you will also cover 3 other East Midlands sites and 3 wider UK sites.

This is a generalist HR role that has a lot of room for development, you will need to be an enthusiastic, driven, and honest and be able to respond well to challenging and forever changing situations.

It is important you have good knowledge of HR systems, experience of project management and be able to work standalone but also part of a team and wider business.

Your day to day duties will include:

Planning & coordination of recruitment
Whole life cycle of employees from interview, selection, induction, development and departure
Support managers with complex ER
Support the managers with training
Managing apprenticeship scheme
Provide reports and insight on all HR performance
Advise on current employment law, case law updates
Updates to policy and risk assessments when required
Internal auditor
Project work
Cover all HR administration employee lifecycle activities

My client is looking to attract a HR professional who has worked there up and has a strong generalist HR skillset, as well as previous experience working at Advisor/Business Partner level.

You will be CIPD level 5 qualified as a minimum with experience of managing ER caseloads and varied day to day workload.

It would be ideal if you have experience working in manufacturing or automotive or similar. You must have a UK Full Driving License to be able to visit different sites across the UK.
