Duration: 3 months initially

Location:
Birmingham; Onsite

Hours:
Full time, Mon-Fri

Pay Rate:
Hourly rate;
Weekly pay;
via _PAYE__ including holiday_

An exciting opportunity has arisen for IT Trainers and supporting Floorwalkers to assist the staff team of a reputable public sector organisation local to Birmingham.

This role is to provide support and guidance to users/staff as they adapt to the rolloutof the new digital solutions and integrated systems.

Prior experience of such systems is preferable. Floorwalkers will be supported by the Training team in relation to this role and their own training.

Providing comprehensive IT training on the IT systems used throughout the organisation, including the use of the Internet and on the general use of IT to staff and external contractors
Delivering IT training programmes, including all supporting materials, and ensuring these comply with professional standards
Providing technical support for PCs and laptops within the IT Training Suite and performing software installations as required
Troubleshooting any problems with the training hardware and software
Providing systems support prior to and following the Go-Live
Resolving and providing solutions for straightforward user queries and problems
Escalating any IT issues to the appropriate team when necessary
Ability to transfer complex technical knowledge in a manner that allows users to learn these features easily
Appropriate temperament and communication skills to relay technical information to nontechnical persons
Organisational skills to arrange and update their schedule, accounting also for any extraneous timetabling
SharePoint expertise
Flexibility to be placed at either of two sites
