Current position:
Scarborough, Permanent, Part time 15 hours per week.


Future positions:
Scarborough and Ryedale, Hambleton and Richmondshire, Harrogate and Craven and Selby and Tadcaster.


Salary:
Grade 3 £21,968 - £22,777 pro rata (based on Full Time equivalent)


We have an opportunity for a District Administration Assistant to join North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service to provide administrative support to the Service Delivery and Capabilities teams.


In this role you will provide general administrative support to the district and maintain operational and community fire safety records and databases.

You will be responsible for the monitoring and inputting of accurate data into information systems and support CFRMIS input and data cleansing activities.


You will handle non-emergency telephone enquiries associated with the operation of the district, including those relating to Technical and Community Fire Safety, redirecting or relaying messages as required together with receiving visitors and directing accordingly.


Current and future opportunities


We have a current permanent position in Scarborough which is part time (15 hours per week) and we are looking to build a holding list for future full time and part time positions across the district service should they arise in the next 12 months.


All positions have the opportunity for hybrid working and you will be expected to attend Easingwold Training Centre for approximately 6-10 days per year for training, you will have access to a vehicle to attend.
