Co-ordination of UK wide 3 centre study on donor specific antibodies following liver transplantation Co-ordination of an ESPGHAN Networking Grant secured for Immune mediated complications following intestinal transplantation.
Presentations and publications Grant applications (NIHR funding has been secured for two years for submitting grant applications in children with liver diseases Gut microbiota and liver disease Mucosal immune cytokine pathways in intestinal transplantation Sarcopenia and Frailty in chronic liver disease Donor cell free DNA in liver transplantation participation in Laboratory based Basic Science Research (in collaboration with The Institute of Biomedical Research (IBR), providing opportunities for research on infection, immunity, and stem cell therapeutics in state of the art laboratory facilities)Clinical Research opportunities include:
Experience as sub-investigator in Liver Unit clinical trials (Viral hepatitis/ immunosuppression/cholestasis trials/ Wilsons Disease trials) Clinical audit projects evaluating outcome of liver disease
