We have a fantastic opportunity available for a
dedicated part time Sales Assistant to work alongside the Shop Team at our Charity Shop in
Harwood store based in
Bolton, BL2 3HN.

You will work
8 hours per week and receive a competitive hourly rate of
£9.

50 p/h (
3,962 p/a, pro rata of FTE) plus excellent benefits package which includes:

What will you do as our Sales Assistant?

Achieve maximum sales at all times.
Deliver and maintain a high standard of customer service.
Ensure high standards of merchandising and cleanliness are maintained throughout the shop.
Support the shop/deputy manager to actively promote the Gift Aid scheme adhering to the policies, work instructions and HMRC guidelines.
Ensure all stock is consistently priced in line with policy.
Ensure there are adequate stock levels on the shop floor and that stock is rotated according to company guidelines.
Assist in the day to day supervision of volunteers.
Assist in the recruitment and training of volunteers.

Our ideal Sales Assistant:

Will ideally have previous retail experience and experience of cash handling
Have knowledge/experience of administrative duties
Excellent customer service skills
Be a team player with good organisational skills
IT literate and numerate, plus good communication skills
