Assistant Planner - £25-£28k salary banding D.O.E - Ashford TN23, Kent
**The Role

We are a manufacturer and distributor of specialty off-patent/generic pharmaceuticals in the UK, Ireland, and internationally.

We are looking for an Assistant Planner to provide accurate master data maintenance and prompt creation and servicing of bespokecustomer orders.

**Key Responsibilities: The key responsibilities of an Assistant Planner include, but are not limited to:

  • Support the creation of the Master Production Schedule (MPS) by completion of the following tasks:
  • Creating and maintaining SL2 (bespoke) works orders in SAP within the schedule
  • In agreement with the Senior Planner, amending the schedule to reflect unforeseen demand scenarios and proactively avoid any customer service failure.
  • Ensure the accurate maintenance of all Productionrelated SAP Master Data including Bills of Material, Production Models.
  • Daily allocation of all customers back orders.
  • Upload of customer price lists into the SAP system.
  • Provide support for Goods Inwards paperwork checks and any resulting claims.
  • Create and complete stock transfers of inventory from distribution hubs into the production unit.

**The Person
The key skills and qualities of an Assistant Planner are:

  • Understanding of manufacturing requirements for the manufacture and distribution of pharmaceuticals and knowledge of relevant cGMP standards.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel.
  • Use of SAP is desired but not essential.
