Kitchen Porter
Monday to Friday
8am - 4.30pm

Duties:

Assist with food preparation and basic cooking tasks as directed by the chef.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment.
Ensure all food handling and storage procedures are followed to maintain health and safety standards.
Help with inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring stock levels.
Follow proper sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting is preferred.
Knowledge of basic food handling and safety practices.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects if necessary.
