    Job Summary

    This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established practice with over ten years of experience working on various projects, including residential, commercial, and Build To Rent developments. Our services encompass interior design, FF&E, furnishing, and procurement for private clients and developers.

    Role & Responsibilities

    1. Lead, mentor, and manage the design team, fostering a collaborative and creative environment.
    2. Oversee recruitment, training, and development of the team.
    3. Establish and communicate a clear design vision aligned with the company's brand and strategic goals.
    4. Take lead on all new tenders - resource management, process, and timescales, ensuring deliverables are met.
    5. Oversee all design phases, delivering projects on time and budget.
    6. Develop and manage project budgets, pricing documents.
    7. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to enhance reputation and expand network.
    8. Monitor and evaluate operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
    9. Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures.

    Requirements

    • Experience working in hospitality, BTR, or commercial residential sectors preferred.
    • Ability to manage multiple design projects and teams.
    • Passion for design, art, and aesthetics, with good knowledge of suppliers, product, and finishes.
    • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
    • Knowledge of industry's legal rules and guidelines.
    • Proficiency in software AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office preferred.
