The UK College of Hypnosis & Hypnotherapy is a psychotherapy training company based in Hemel Hempstead.The college provides evidence-based training to professional individuals seeking to enhance and broaden their knowledge, and to those seeking to change careers.
Training programmes are run throughout the year in London and China, currently being run via live webcast. The college also provides online learning for the diploma and additional CPD courses.The role is a mix of home based and attendance at the company's home office in Hemel Hempstead. It is a full time role, 40 hours per week. Working hours are Occasional weekend work required as part of the working hours.
For those interested in psychology there is scope to become involved in several interesting projects after the initial training period.
As part of a small core team this role will support a wide variety of administrative and customer facing activities.
Of prime importance is the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and electronically, often with overseas students where English is not the first language.
- Responding to sales enquiries via the phone, the online sales system and live chat. Answering questions about the course and arranging appointments with course advisors.
- Managing new enquiries from current students; answering questions about the course, ensuring potential students have all the necessary information to encourage them to enrol
- Liaising with current students; providing them with course documentation and details, access to the learning platform, answering queries and managing any first line issues
- Course administration creating webcast link, organising printed materials, managing student feedback and correlating feedback for analysis
- Updating course literature and documentation
- Contacting Tutors & Teachers regarding college events and supporting them administratively
- Monitoring the helpdesk and student queries
- Learning how to make updates to the website and internal membership hub
- Record keeping; updating student information, sales information, student coursework tracking
- Supporting the directors with ad hoc work such as proof reading, editing, copywriting,
- General office duties to include filing, scanning, photocopying, archiving
Skills
- Excellent skills in MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- CRM experience
- Zoho CRM or similar
- Acute attention to detail and exceptional organisation skills
- Good to excellent communications skills, written and spoken
- Comfortable with technology and keen to learn and master new systems
- Ability to problem solve
- WordPress or the ability to learn website skills
- Desktop publishing/social media design skills would be an asset
Additional information
- Background or interest in psychology beneficial
- Interested in evidencebased approaches, CBT, meditation, mindfulness etc.
- Interest in marketing, including development of marketing lists and contributing to marketing ideas
Remuneration
- £26 - £30,000 related to experience
- Reviewed after initial 6 months
Salary:
£26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
