Description

We have a new job vacancy for a Pig Stockperson on a farm in Devon (EX15).

Their progressive pig business requires a dry sow stockperson to join their team on their 1800 sow breeding to weaning unit.

Following recent investment, the unit has been modernised with state-of-the-art equipment.

Primary responsibilities on their weekly system involve serving and dry sow work.
We are specifically looking for someone who can demonstrate:

Excellent attention to detail and diligence
Good sow husbandry skills
Very high welfare standards

This position would give the successful applicant an excellent opportunity to extend their experience in the pig sector.

Salary guide:
from £30,000 (DOE) plus housing.

Hours: 7 am - 5 pm, plus 10hrs over the weekend every other weekend, with a view to 1 in 3.
