Description
This is a superb opportunity to work with one of the countries leading animal welfare charities.

The role is initially 24hrs per week, this can be 3 full days or made up of mornings and afternoons.


Key responsibilities

  • Provide a pet transport service to a range of our clients and the London hospitals
  • Undertake trips to other sites and to any other reasonable destinations (such as shows and external events)
  • Be responsible for accurately communicating treatment plans to the client and ensuring comprehension as well as providing general advice to this diverse client base
  • Manage time effectively and to complete driving calls as efficiently, cost effectively and safely as possible
  • Deal with clients sensitively, compassionately, and professionally at all times
  • Carry out routine maintenance and safety checks on their vehicle at the beginning of each day in accordance with local operating procedures.
  • Assist in the general maintenance of a clean and sanitary environment in the workplace by ensuring vehicles are clean internally and externally

Essential qualifications, skills and experience

  • Valid, full UK driving licence
  • Demonstrable driving experience
  • Experience of working in a customer facing role
  • Experience of caring for/handling animals
  • Drive, resilience, and the ability to manage stressful situations.
