We are looking for a highly motivated, pragmatic and enthusiastic individual to work in the Portfolio Management Office (PMO) helping to deliver exceptional customer service to our end-users.
No two days are the same in the PMO, so we are looking for someone who enjoys working in ambiguity and especially rising to new challenges.
As the PMO Contract Management and Scheduling Lead for ICS Digital PMO, you will work as part of a dynamic team and play a critical role in supporting the delivery of business outcomes.
Person specification:
- As the PMO Contracts Management and Scheduling Lead, you will be responsible for:
- Contract Management and Oversight:
- Maintain comprehensive records of all existing contracts, including budget details, spending, and scope.
- Identify contract expiration dates and facilitate timely renewals or replacements.
- Work closely with the Commercial team to ensure that expired or expiring contracts align with departmental guidelines.
- Serve as the goto expert for contract management within ICS Digital.
It will be crucial for you to:
- Evaluate our internal resources of permanent staff, to determine their availability, capacity, and capability.
- Strategically allocate resources between permanent staff and managed services. Considering factors such as cost, expertise, and scalability.
Skills and experience:
Essential Criteria:
- Experience of cohering contracts and allocation of resources to achieve value for money,
- Experience of providing advice, guidance and best practice to senior managers on contract management and scheduling resources,
