Mobile Gas Engineer

Bristol and surrounding areas

Permanent - £43-45k

Plus, Company Van & Fully Comprehensive Bonus, Medial & Pension Package

The Client


Our Client are a major property & commercial services company, providing facilities management, property management & energy/healthcare services across the Country.

Due to demand, they are looking to recruit a permanent Mobile Gas Engineer covering Bristoland the surrounding areas.


The Role


You will be working within the retail sector and will be responsible for carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance on commercial gas appliances, carrying out reactive & emergency tasks on gas appliances and plumbing maintenance.

You will be requiredto anticipate, diagnose and repair faults. You will need to ensure that all tasks are completed within the contractual timescales and documentation is completed accurately.


Duties
Maintenance inspections
Fault finding,
Upgrades and installations
Answering queries
Reporting any defects
Ensure logs are kept of all inspections and remedial works
Keeping Clients informed of site activities at the time of the service visit.


Requirements:

Must have previous experience of commercial maintenance
Must have experience of testing & fault finding in a variety of plant equipment such as gas appliances, gas boilers, heating plant, pumps and ventilation
Must be Gas Safe Registered
Must have relevant commercial gas qualifications including: COCN1, CCN1, TPCP1, TPCP1A, CODNCO1 Must have a full UK Driving Licence as you will be provided with a company van
Must have knowledge of Health & Safety, Permit to Work procedures and safe systems of working.
Capability to perform manual tasks, including manual handling, working at heights, confined spaces
Must be willing to participate in out of hours On-Call Rota.
Must have good verbal and written communication
Must be highly self-motivated, focused and have the ability to work without supervision
