Saturday Pay Rates:
£ £15.99 paye per hour
£ £16.99 paye inclusive of holiday pay per hour
£ £17.99 umbrella per hour
All of the rates are depending on skill and experience
Working Days and Hours:
Monday to Saturday, 29 hours a week;
Weekdays 5pm-10pm
Saturday 8am to 12pm
Duties
Experience in providing IT support in both a 1st line and 2nd line Service Desk environment.
Knowledge and experience in supporting:
- Triaging and troubleshooting IT Issues
- Working on phones, ticket queues and field
- Supporting equipment and software
- Windows 10/11 operating system
- Office 36
- Handheld and smartphone devices
- Home and office working environments supported
- Working as a team player as well as proficient when working alone
- Excellent verbal and written communications
- Must be able to drive
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Advanced Windows administration skills
- Advanced experience of and high degree of skills in Microsoft Windows network operating systems
- In depth knowledge and experience of TCP/IP networking
- Engineer level knowledge of printer installation and administration/troubleshooting
- Administrator level skills in Microsoft Office product suite
- In depth knowledge of ITIL techniques and operating procedures
- Ability to interpret technical problems explained by nontechnical systems users
- Knowledge of NHS ITC strategies such as the National Programme for Information Technology.
- Significant experience in supporting multi user, networked IT systems preferably in a Tier 2 support role
- Significant experience of providing installation and configuration services to a distributed user base
- Experience of Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems at Tier 2 level or equivalent
- Moderate experience of Microsoft Office packaged configuration, installation and support
- Experience of remote systems troubleshooting
- Experience of networked and standalone printer installation and troubleshooting
- Experience of working in an NHS environment
- Experience in leading smallscale projects in the area of desktop support of Personal computers and peripherals
- Good working knowledge of Citrix or thin client technologies.
- Working within a fast moving, sometimes pressurised and stressful service desk environment
