Psychology Graduates Wanted - Teaching Assistant Positions Available

Protocol Education is currently recruiting Psychology graduates to take on the role of Learning Support Assistant across schools in the Newcastle upon Tyne area.

This role would be a good fit for graduates who wish to gain more experience in schools or work alongside your degree to gain an understanding of an education-based role.


Requirements:


  • DBS / Right to work in the UK.
  • An interest in working with children and SEND children.
  • A patient, trusting, and calm approach.
  • Experience working with children and/or people with SEND is preferable.

Idea of Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 support to students.
  • Assist with the daily tasks in the classroom.
  • Behaviour management.
  • Create a safe and productive work environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
