You will join a top 40 law firm within a Tier 1 corporate and commercial team and be joining an exciting and rewarding place to work.

The team

The Reading-based corporate team currently consists of 10 lawyers and sits within the firm's wider national corporate department.

The team boasts an impressive client list, with clients in sectors ranging from TMT, Retail, IT, manufacturing and private equity houses/investors and provides the full spectrum of corporate advice to its clients, and you will be able to work on matterssuch as M&A, private equity, venture capital investments, reorganisations and general corporate advisory matters.

Deals vary in size but tend to sit in the smaller to lower mid-market range.

About you

You will be a qualified solicitor with at least 4 years PQE experience gained within a reputable corporate team. Extensive M&A transactional experience is a must and prior experience of private equity work is desirable but not essential.

You will also enjoy mentoring more junior team members and developing internal and external client relationships.
