The Company
J&D Wilkie Ltd is a global technical têxtile manufacturing company, with its head office in Kirriemuir.

The Role

Following your training you will be required to:

Be responsible for inspecting the quality of our fabrics prior to dispatch to our customers
Follow all instructions and specifications correctly to meet order requirements
Carry out inspection and verify status to match customer requirements
Comply with all health & safety regulations
Work effectively as part of the production team
Be able to respond to changing requirements and promote a 'right first time, no fault' forward approach to quality
Perform quality control, follow reporting and record keeping procedures, and report problems to supervisor
Keep the equipment and work areas both clean and serviceable at all times
Carry out any other duties as required to suit the needs of the business

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

You should be conscientious and strive to exceed expectations and deliver quality.

Your ability to complete the above will be complemented by:

A quality focused approach and attitude
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work upon your own initiative and effectively as part of a team, with clear communication
Given the industrial work environment and complexity of machinery some work experience is preferable, although full training will be provided

We offer

Monday
Friday 6am2pm/2pm10pm alternating weekly shifts

- £11.84 per hour
