SEMH Behaviour Support Worker

Role:


  • Throughout this role as a behaviour support worker, you will support secondary aged students with their SEMH and SEN needs
  • Be confident with deescalating challenging behaviours
  • Set clear boundaries and be firm with behaviour management
  • You will be required to support pupils in a group setting and on a 11 basis with their learning
  • Be proactive and be a positive role model to the pupils

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in an educational or care setting is essential
  • Relevant training and certificates such as Team Teach is desirable, although training can be offered by Veritas
  • Have proof of eligibility to work in the UK
