SEMH Behaviour Support Worker

Role:

Throughout this role as a behaviour support worker, you will support secondary aged students with their SEMH and SEN needs
Be confident with deescalating challenging behaviours
Set clear boundaries and be firm with behaviour management
You will be required to support pupils in a group setting and on a 11 basis with their learning
Be proactive and be a positive role model to the pupils

Requirements:

Previous experience in an educational or care setting is essential
Relevant training and certificates such as Team Teach is desirable, although training can be offered by Veritas
Have proof of eligibility to work in the UK
