The Best Connection are currently looking to recruit a Grounds Maintenance Operative to work for our busy client in the Portsmouth area.

Duties to include, but not limited to:

Maintaining all green areas, parks and open spaces in the Portsmouth area
Using a range of machinery and equipment
Landscaping
Mowing grass
Trimming hedges
Cutting down trees
Leaf blowing
Maintaining health and safety standards

Previous experience in grounds work is essential to be considered for this role. A driving license is not essential, but would be highly advantageous. You could be required to work anywhere in the Portsmouth area, such as Southsea, North End, Farlington etc. You will be working outside in all weather conditions.

This is for an immediate start, and an ongoing, full-time position, with the potential of earning a permanent contract.

Working hours are 07:00 - 16:00, Monday to Thursday, and 07:00 - 15:00 Friday.

Starting pay rate of £11.44 per hour.
