- Friday 8am2pm (30 hours a week)
Is business administration repetitive or boring?
It's neither, this couldn't be further from the truth, the NHS must be well organised and keep detailed records of patients and staff across several wards.
You'll support the ability for patients or other organisations to see or speak to the right person at the right time who can give them the help they need.
So overall administration isn't boring, it's varied.
You'll find solutions to everyday problems, such as:
- Assisting ERC Administrative Team in general office duties, e.g. typing letters, photocopying, filing, making room bookings.
- Manage the diary of the Assistant Education Campus Manager, arranging meetings and venues when required.
- Assist in arranging the ERC Events & Facilities Team meetings, team one to ones, appraisals, booking venues, catering and informing staff.
- Whilst acting as Receptionist, post holder will be expected to communicate in a professional manner when dealing with all members of staff, users, visitors and patients.
- The post holder will be responsible for distributing information to all staff housed in the ERC.
What you'll need:
- Excellent communication skills
- Microsoft office skills
- Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Previous administrative experience
- Telephone/ call centre experience
- Previous NHS experience
- NHS System Knowledge
