In this role, your primary responsibilities will involve stock demand and inventory planning for my clients' UK's current market and partner accounts.


You will be responsible for forecasting the demand for products and managing the inventory levels to meet our customer needs.

Works closely with various stakeholders & departments, such as sales, marketing, to ensure that the supply chain is efficient and effective.


  • Placing stock orders for standard stock and commission items in line with demand. (maintaining any outstanding purchase order confirmations)
  • Analyse historical data in SAP IBP, market trends, and customer feedback to estimate future demand patterns.
  • Updating forecasts monthly variances & regular review (Communicating forecast updates and recommendations to your direct line manager)
  • Manage order alerts through SAP APO this includes purchase order dated in the past, orders that have created a surplus & stock that has fallen below our safety stock requirements.
  • Repeat and manage additional receipts and shortages for Blum Austria.
  • Third party goodsin booking.
  • Creation and release of production orders (including bill of material maintenance).
  • Lifecycle management (phase in / phase out) locally to minimise stock wastage.
  • Programme definition package creation and release.
  • New process implementation processes and procedures developing and reviewing service improvements.
  • Maintain transparent and open communications with your team and other departments, providing logístical support when requested or required.
  • Attend customer visits to our customers based in the UK when requested (onsite or offsite) to provide a holistic logistics service to our partners. (For example, ABC analysis, delivery management service.)
  • Participation in international exchanges (inclusive of the Logistics workshop in Austria)
  • Ensure the operations & logistics department works together effectively with partnership tasks. All parties must be able to undertake all tasks.
  • Support the whole Sales Admin department when the needs arise.
  • Training & guidance for all related operational issues, e.g., Logistics, RGA process, SAP processes etc.
  • Support internal platform groups or projects as and when required.
  • Maintain Local KPI's set by the Sales Administration Manager

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

  • A (MSc Logistics and Supply Chain Management) alternatively a City and Guilds Logistics Operations apprenticeship.
  • Previous experience of working as a demand/inventory planner.
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP/APO essential.
  • Previous experience of managing large SKU portfolios.
  • Competent user of Office 36
  • Advanced level of Excel is essential.
  • An understanding of Power BI.
  • Data analysis.
  • Process mapping.
  • Be a critical & analytical thinker always looking for opportunities to improve.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Analytical with the ability to multitask and prioritise.
  • The ability to tailor presentation of data to the audience

Salary:
£22,503.84-£42,000.00 per year
