Description
This is a fixed term/secondment post until 30/06/2024.

There are exciting times ahead for Neurodevelopmental Services in West Wales and we would like to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Band 6 Neurodevelopmental Practitioner into the Children's Neurodevelopmental Service.

The service caters for the Hywel Dda University Health Board region, offering diagnostic assessment of autism to children and young people and a limited pre-assessment and post-diagnostic support and signposting service for young people and their families.

Welsh Government have pledged additional funding for Neurodevelopmental services across Wales.

With additional resources, we aim to develop and strengthen our service, to include post diagnostic support and professional consultation, engagement and training across all sectors.

The role is clinical and predominantly will centre around being part of a multi-disciplinary team, undertaking diagnostic assessments on children and young people up to the age of 17.

We would love to hear from you if you are dynamic, innovative and able to forge excellent working relationships with neurodivergent children and young people, their families and a range of other stakeholders.
